What Is Pod Training?
Think of the familiar phrase “three peas in a pod.”
A pod is a small group that stays closely connected and works together.
At WV Soccer Combine, Pod Training places only 2–4 players in each training group. Instead of joining a large training session where players may spend time waiting in lines, athletes in a Pod remain actively involved throughout the session.
Pod Training combines the personal attention of individual instruction with the competition, passing options, and game interaction of a small group. Every Pod contains no fewer than 2 players and no more than 4 players.
